Hace tiempo que le eché el ojo a este molde de magdalenas gigante de Matfer. No sabía dónde encontrarlo y me topé con él. Así que me lancé a ello. Esa es la primera razón de esta receta. La otra es que quería encontrar el sabor de las magdalenas industriales. Sé que es una pena, pero encuentro que las magdalenas comerciales son a veces muy sabrosas. Y sin embargo nunca los compro, es cuando me los ofrecen que los encuentro muy buenos. Aquí he intentado reproducir la textura y el sabor de una de las marcas conocidas. ¡He utilizado aroma de almendra amarga para el sabor y es delicioso! Esta magdalena gigante (¡o la clásica versión de tamaño normal!) está lista para meter en el horno en menos de 5 minutos y llena la casa de un olor tentador.
Receta para una magdalena gigante (molde de magdalena matfer) o 2 docenas de magdalenas:
175 g de harina
2,5g de levadura en polvo (es muy poco y funciona muy bien)
1/4 de cucharadita de sal
140g de azúcar
100 g de aceite (de colza para cocinar), o mantequilla derretida
80g de huevo
25g de leche
10 g de aroma de almendra amarga (¡por una vez, Vahiné!)
Poner en un bol la harina, la levadura, la sal, el aceite y el azúcar.
Mezclar brevemente y luego añadir la leche y los 80g de huevo.
Mezclar hasta conseguir una pasta suave y sin grumos. Por último, vierta el aroma de almendra amarga y mezcle bien.
Este es el molde gigante para magdalenas de Matfer. Lo engraso con el desmoldante o con mantequilla derretida y luego lo enharino ligeramente. Pero se puede prescindir de él y hacer magdalenas de tamaño normal.
Hornear durante 50 minutos a 160°C para la magdalena gigante o 15 minutos para las magdalenas pequeñas.
¡Eso es! Dejar enfriar de 5 a 10 minutos antes de desmoldar.
