En Sicilia, por las mañanas, cuando hace calor, son granizados de almendra y brioches. Este granizado sólo requiere unos pocos ingredientes: buenas almendras, azúcar y agua. En unos minutos todo está listo para la turbina y en 30 minutos el trabajo está hecho. A continuación, podrá disfrutar de un refrescante granizado.
Receta para un litro de granizado:
160g de almendras
155g de azúcar
670g de agua
1/2 cucharadita de aroma de almendra amarga (opcional)
Para esta receta, utilice almendras sin piel.
Viértalas en una batidora con el azúcar y el agua. Yo añado media cucharadita de aroma de almendra amarga.
Mezclar a velocidad alta durante 4-5 minutos.
No deben verse más partículas de almendra.
Verter en la heladera.
Todo esto llevará bastante tiempo, unos 20 minutos.
Hay un momento en el que el granizado toma un aspecto extraño y es normal, ¡todo vuelve a la normalidad después!
Ya está mejorando.
Al final, todo es perfecto.
Lo mejor es la degustación nada más salir de la turbina. El granizado queda entonces cremoso. Si no es así, ponlo en un tarro hermético en el congelador. En las próximas 3 horas, seguirá estando bien. Un poco más y será más difícil. ¡Pero luego hay que sacarlo antes de comerlo! Es delicioso con tuiles de almendra… ¡Receta AQUÍ!
