Na Sicília, de manhã, quando o tempo está quente, é granita de amêndoa e brioches. Esta granita requer apenas alguns ingredientes: amêndoas boas, açúcar e água. Em poucos minutos tudo está pronto para a turbina e em 30 minutos o trabalho está feito. Poderá então desfrutar de uma granita refrescante!
Receita para um litro de granita :
160g de amêndoas
155g de açúcar
670g de água
1/2 colher de chá de aroma de amêndoa amarga (opcional)
Para esta receita, utilizar amêndoas sem peles.
Deitá-los num misturador com o açúcar e a água. Acrescento meia colher de chá de aroma de amêndoa amarga.
Misturar em alta durante 4-5 minutos.
Não devem ser visíveis mais partículas de amêndoa.
Verter para a máquina de gelados.
Tudo isto vai demorar bastante tempo, cerca de 20 minutos.
Há um momento em que a granita assume uma aparência estranha e isso é normal, tudo volta ao normal depois!

No final, tudo é perfeito.
A melhor parte é a degustação logo a partir da turbina. A granita é então cremosa. Caso contrário, coloque-o num frasco hermético no congelador. Nas próximas 3 horas, ainda estará bem.
