En Sicile, dès le matin quand il fait chaud, c’est granité aux amandes et brioches. Ce granité ne nécessite que peu d’ingrédients : de bonnes amandes, du sucre et de l’eau. En quelques minutes tout est prêt à passer à la turbine et en 30 minutes l’affaire est réglée. On peut alors se régaler d’un granité rafraichissant à souhait !
Recette pour un litre de granité :
160g d’amandes
155g de sucre
670g d’eau
1/2 cuillerée à café d’arôme amande amère (facultatif)
Instructions :
Prenez pour cette recette, des amandes sans peaux.
Versez-les dans un blender avec le sucre et l’eau. Pour ma part, j’ajoute en plus une demi-cuillerée à café d’arôme amande amère.
Mixez sur forte puissance pendant 4-5 minutes.
On ne doit plus voir de particules d’amande.
Versez dans la turbine à glace.
Le tout va prendre assez rapidement, en une vingtaine de minutes.
Il y a un moment où le granité prend une drôle d’allure et c’est normal, tout rentre dans l’ordre après !
Ça va déjà mieux !
À la fin, le tout est parfait.
Le meilleur moment est la dégustation directement à la sortie de la turbine. Le granité est alors onctueux. Sinon, mettez-le dans un pot hermétique au congélateur. Dans les 3 heures suivantes, il sera encore très bien. Plus longtemps et il deviendra plus dur. Mais il suffira alors de le sortir avant de le manger ! C’est un délice avec des tuiles aux amandes… Recette ICI !
