Estava tanto frio em Paris que fiz uma grande sopa! Estou a tirar partido de ter um blogue de cozinha para partilhar a minha receita que fiz no outro dia. Estou sempre hesitante em pôr uma receita de sopa, porque penso que se pode pôr o que se quiser e ainda assim será bom. Mas muitos de vós pedem-me este tipo de receita básica. Claro, não há nada de fixo ou definitivo numa sopa. Tem de o fazer por instinto. Mas estou aqui a dar-vos uma boa base para os novatos trabalharem e para os mais experientes acrescentarem o seu próprio contributo.
Receita para sopa de abóbora com gengibre:
-1 alho francês -1 cebola -2 batatas -2 cenouras -1,5 kg de abóbora -2 litros de água -2 cubos de caldo de galinha -sal, pimenta -óleo colivo – pó deginger -túrcuma em pó -spices para colombo -20cl de creme líquido
Lavar o alho francês e cortar a base e a parte superior das folhas. Cortar grosseiramente.
Cortar a cebola em grandes pedaços.
Aquecer duas a três colheres de sopa de óleo numa panela. Adicionar o alho francês, a cebola e as cenouras, descascadas e cortadas em pedaços.
Fazer o mesmo com as batatas.
Esta é a minha grande fatia de abóbora.
Cortar em pedaços, depois remover a pele (a pele da abóbora, não a pele do dedo!). Sim, primeiro cortei em pedaços grandes, remover a pele e depois cortar em pedaços mais pequenos…
Adicionar a abóbora ao pote.
Deixar cozinhar durante dois a três minutos antes de adicionar os dois litros de água.
Temperar com sal e pimenta e adicionar os cubos de caldo de galinha.
Cozinhar durante 30 minutos e depois verificar se as batatas e a abóbora estão doadas. Estender se necessário. Normalmente paro de cozinhar nesta altura e saio durante 15 minutos antes de misturar.
Misturar com uma varinha mágica.
Adicionar as especiarias: gengibre em pó (ou mesmo gengibre fresco se tiver algum à mão) e curcuma. Até acrescentei um pouco de especiarias de colombo.
Adicione as natas, misture bem e sirva!
É importante verificar sempre o tempero e ajustá-lo, se necessário.
