A própria salada grega não existe na Grécia. É como o arroz cantonês em Cantão (ver receita AQUI). Mas há sempre uma salada à mesa com pelo menos queijo feta e tomate, e é apenas uma salada para eles. Depois disso, pode realmente acrescentar-lhe o que quiser. O importante, é claro (como em todas as receitas) é usar legumes bons e maduros. Para manter a salada fresca, coloco os legumes no frigorífico durante pelo menos uma ou duas horas antes de a preparar (uma vez que demora 5 minutos no total). Com apenas sal, pimenta e um bom azeite, este é um prato fresco, colorido e super saboroso!
Para 6 pessoas:
uma dúzia de tomates maduros
2 pimentos verdes
1 pepino
1 cebola vermelha
um bom punhado de azeitonas (pretas ou roxas de Kalamata)
500g de queijo feta fresco
sal, pimenta, azeite
Lavar e picar os legumes, pimentos, tomates, etc.
O mesmo se aplica às cebolas vermelhas. Voltei a cortar o quadro!
Colocar tudo num grande recipiente e misturar bem.
Acrescentar sal e um pouco de azeite aos vegetais. Misturar bem e verter sobre pratos ou uma travessa grande. Coloque o queijo feta e esmague-o entre as suas mãos para o partir.
Pimenta generosamente e coloca as azeitonas.
Regar com azeite de oliva.
Está pronto! Estou apenas a mostrar-vos a imagem quando me estou a misturar mesmo antes de comer, mas sirva bem a salada sem o fazer! É por isso que vos estou a mostrar o que parece, porque é muito menos bonito para a apresentação!
