Desde hace algún tiempo tengo una verdadera pasión por las galletas secas. Nunca deja de sorprenderme que con la simple variación de azúcar/harina/mantequilla en múltiples proporciones, se pueda hacer un número infinito de pasteles. Así que me divierto variando las cantidades y añadiendo más elementos inesperados. Y cuando el resultado es el esperado, lo publico aquí. Créame cuando le digo que estos pequeños shortbreads son casi hojaldrados con sabor a Oriente Medio. Pero no te olvides de no trabajar la masa una vez añadida la harina, ¡si no los pasteles quedarán demasiado duros! Siguiendo este método te sorprenderás de verdad.
Receta de «Pan de sésamo tostado»:
-200g de mantequilla blanda
-150g de azúcar moreno
-85g de semillas de sésamo tostadas
-20 g de yema de huevo
-2 pizcas de sal
-300g de harina
Poner todos los ingredientes, excepto la harina, en un bol.
Mezclar los ingredientes hasta formar una crema suave.
Añadir la harina de una vez.
Mezclar lo justo para incorporar la harina pero no más. Hacer una bola con la masa y colocarla en papel de horno. Aplástelo ligeramente con la palma de la mano.
Poner una segunda hoja de papel de hornear encima y aplanar con un rodillo hasta conseguir un grosor de 1 cm.
Dejar reposar en un lugar fresco durante al menos 30 minutos.
Precalentar el horno a 180°C.
Cortar las galletas con un cortador de galletas o un cuchillo con la forma deseada.
Colocar el shortbread en una bandeja de horno forrada con papel de hornear.
Hornear durante 18 minutos, vigilando el horno. A continuación, dejar enfriar en una bandeja de horno.
