Há já algum tempo que tenho uma verdadeira paixão por bolachas secas. Nunca deixa de me surpreender que com a simples variação de açúcar/farinha/manteiga em múltiplas proporções, se possa fazer um número infinito de bolos. Portanto, divirto-me variando as quantidades e acrescentando mais elementos inesperados. E quando o resultado é o que eu esperava, publico aqui. Acreditem quando digo que estes pequenos pães curtos são quase escamosos com um sabor do Médio Oriente! Mas não se esqueça de não trabalhar a massa depois da adição da farinha, caso contrário os bolos serão demasiado duros! Ao seguir este método, ficará realmente surpreendido!
Receita para “Pão torrado com gergelim”:
-200g de manteiga mole
-150g de açúcar mascavado
-85g de sementes de gergelim tostadas
-20g de gema de ovo
-2 pitadas de sal
-300g de farinha
Colocar todos os ingredientes, excepto a farinha, numa tigela.
Misturar os ingredientes para formar um creme suave.
Acrescentar a farinha de uma só vez.
Misturar apenas o suficiente para incorporar a farinha, mas não mais. Enrolar a massa numa bola e colocá-la sobre papel vegetal. Aplainá-lo ligeiramente com a palma da mão.
Colocar uma segunda folha de papel vegetal em cima e achatá-la com um rolo de papel a uma espessura de 1 cm.
Deixar no frigorífico durante pelo menos 30 minutos.
Pré-aquecer o forno a 180°C.
Recortar biscoitos com um cortador de biscoitos ou faca na forma desejada.
Colocar o biscoito sobre um tabuleiro forrado com papel vegetal.
Cozer durante 18 minutos, observando o forno. Em seguida, deixar arrefecer num tabuleiro para cozer.
