Llevo tiempo buscando una receta de bollos, ya que se pueden encontrar en algunas cafeterías… Así que he preparado y ajustado esta receta para que los bollos se parezcan a los americanos, no a los ingleses. Elaborada con copos de avena y salvado de avena, jarabe de arce y nueces, esta receta es perfecta para la hora del té o el desayuno.
Receta de «bollos de jarabe de arce y nueces»:
-180g de harina
-100g de avena
-40g de salvado de avena
-1 huevo
-35g de mantequilla
-120g de nata doble
-45g de jarabe de arce
-40g de azúcar
-1+1/2 cucharadita de levadura en polvo
1 cucharadita de extracto de jarabe (opcional, ya que es difícil de encontrar…)
-90g de nueces
Para el glaseado:
-140 g de azúcar glas
-1 cucharada de jarabe de arce
-1 cucharadita de extracto de jarabe de arce
-4 nueces
Estos son algunos de los ingredientes necesarios para esta receta. Lo más difícil de encontrar es el extracto de arce, pero se puede prescindir de él porque en Francia creo que es bastante difícil de encontrar.
Precalentar el horno a 220°C.
Ponga todos los ingredientes, excepto las nueces , en el bol de una batidora.
Mezclar bien hasta que la mantequilla esté perfectamente incorporada. Añada las nueces y vuelva a encender la batidora sólo para incorporarlas.
Hacer una bola con la masa y colocarla en papel de horno.
Aplanar la masa con la mano, manteniendo la forma circular y un cierto grosor.
Cortar la masa en 8 partes iguales.
Poner en el horno durante 10 minutos…
Vuelva a cortar las rodajas, sepárelas y métalas de nuevo en el horno de 5 a 7 minutos.
Dejar enfriar completamente en una rejilla de horno sobre el papel de hornear.
Mientras los bollos se enfrían, prepare el glaseado. Poner en un bol el azúcar glas, el jarabe de arce y el extracto de jarabe de arce.
Añadir una cucharada de agua y mezclar bien.
Poner una cucharada del glaseado sobre cada bollo.
Ponga media nuez en cada bollo y deje que el glaseado «haga costra» durante al menos 20 minutos.
Disfrútelo con una bebida caliente para el desayuno o la merienda.
