Há algum tempo que ando à procura de uma receita de scones, pois pode encontrá-los em algumas cafetarias… Por isso preparei e ajustei esta receita para scones que não são ingleses mas americanos. Feito com aveia enrolada e farelo de aveia, xarope de ácer e nozes pecã, esta receita é perfeita para a hora do chá ou do pequeno-almoço!
Receita para “xarope de ácer e scones de nozes pecan”:
-180g de farinha
-100g de farinha de aveia
-40g de farelo de aveia
-1 ovo
-35g de manteiga
-120g de creme duplo
-45g de xarope de bordo
-40g de açúcar
-1+1/2 colher de chá de fermento em pó
1 colher de chá de extracto de xarope (opcional por ser difícil de encontrar…)
-90g de nozes pecans
Para o vidrado:
-140g de açúcar de confeiteiro
-1 colher de sopa de xarope de ácer
-1 colher de chá de extracto de xarope de ácer
-4 pecans
Aqui estão alguns dos ingredientes necessários para esta receita. O mais difícil de encontrar é o extracto de ácer, mas pode passar sem ele porque em França penso que é bastante difícil de encontrar.
Pré-aquecer o forno a 220°C.
Colocar todos os ingredientes excepto nozes pecans na tigela de um liquidificador.
Misturar bem até que a manteiga esteja perfeitamente incorporada. Acrescentar os pecans e voltar a ligar o misturador só para os incorporar.
Enrolar a massa numa bola e colocá-la sobre papel vegetal.
Aplanar a massa à mão, mantendo a forma circular e uma certa espessura.
Cortar a massa em 8 partes iguais.
Pôr no forno durante 10 minutos…
Cortar novamente as fatias, separá-las e colocá-las de novo no forno durante 5 a 7 minutos.
Deixar arrefecer completamente sobre um tabuleiro em cima do papel vegetal.
Enquanto os scones estão a arrefecer, preparar o vidrado. Colocar o açúcar em pó, o xarope de ácer e o extracto de xarope de ácer numa tigela.
Acrescentar uma colher de sopa de água e misturar bem.
Colher uma colher de sopa do vidrado sobre cada scone.
Colocar metade de uma noz em cada scone e deixar o vidrado “crosta” durante pelo menos 20 minutos.
Desfrute com uma bebida quente ao pequeno-almoço ou um lanche!
