Pour les froides journées qui s’annoncent, rien de mieux qu’une soupe maison pour se réchauffer ! Une recette classique, toute simple et sans artifice qui s’avère délicieuse. À part de petits morceaux de noix que je verse à la dernière minute pour servir, je ne mets rien de plus que du potimarron et de l’oignon, pour bien mettre en valeur cette délicieuse cucurbitacée.
Épluchez et coupez les oignons. Placez-les dans une grande casserole.
Coupez le (ou les) potimarron(s) en deux.
Ôtez les graines avec une cuillère.
Épluchez-les avec un économe. Si vous prenez du potimarron bio, vous pouvez laisser la peau. Cela sera d’autant plus facile ! En enlevant les graines et la peau, j’ai fini avec 1,4kg de chair.
Coupez en morceaux et mettez dans la casserole avec l’eau et le sel.
Mettez sur feu modéré avec un couvercle.
Faites cuire une vingtaine de minutes. Vérifiez que le potimarron est cuit. Suivant sa texture, cela peut prendre plus ou moins de temps.
Placez le mixeur plongeant dans la casserole pour mixez le tout.
Versez la crème et mélangez bien.
La soupe est prête ! Goûtez pour ajuster l’assaisonnement et la texture (versez au besoin de l’eau petit à petit jusqu’à avoir la consistance désirée).
