Je reviens d’Irlande, et j’avais vu dans un marché des gâteaux à peu près similaires. Alors ce ne sont pas des cookies à proprement parler, mais plutôt entre le cookie et le flapjack. La consistance est moelleuse et se rapproche beaucoup d’un flapjack. Ils sont assez peu sucrés et la saveur de l’orange et celle du chocolat se combinent parfaitement. Un demi gâteau suffira pour caler l’estomac pour un goûter ! Mais je n’y peux rien, c’est ce que j’aime !
Mélangez le sucre de canne, l’œuf et la matière grasse. J’ai pris ici du Fleurier car je voulais un côté très flapjack avec une consistance bien particulière. J’ai pris donc cette marque car c’est un mélange de beurre et de margarine, mais vous pouvez très bien ne mettre que du beurre !
Vous devez obtenir une crème.
Ajoutez la farine et les flocons d’avoine.
Mélangez puis ajoutez le chocolat au lait. J’ai ici prix du chocolat Cacao Barry.
Ajoutez le zeste d’orange.
Mélangez bien.
Faites des boules de 95g que vous aplatirez à la main.
Faites cuire à 160°C pendant 17 minutes.
Ils restent assez blancs et pas trop cuits au centre. C’est normal !
Faites fondre le chocolat pour le décor.
Faites un petit cornet en papier sulfurisé.
Et versez le chocolat comme vous le voulez.
Laissez le chocolat refroidir puis mettez les gâteaux dans une boite hermétique pour les conserver.
