Cette salade de choux verts, carottes et raisins secs, le « coleslaw » est une salade qui revient souvent quand nous faisons des buffets avec la famille et les amis et elle est particulièrement appréciée…! J’ai appris à la faire aux États-Unis il y a bien longtemps. Elle accompagne à la perfection les barbecues. Encore une fois comme pour certains plats, la photo ne rend pas justice! Mais cette salade est facile à faire et vraiment délicieuse…
Mettre une partie des carottes (pas toutes!) dans le bol du mixeur.
Et mixer par impulsions successives pour hacher les carottes mais surtout pas trop non plus, sinon il ne restera que de la purée!
Mettre les carottes dans un grand récipient (pour faciliter le mélange par la suite). Faire de même avec toutes les carottes.
Enlever au couteau, le cœur dur du chou vert.
Et le hacher par impulsions comme pour les carottes.
Mettre le chou avec les carottes. Pour la sauce, je ne fais pas une mayonnaise classique mais j’utilise un procédé extrêmement rapide! Il faut pour cela, posséder un mixeur plongeant et le bol conçu pour celui-ci.
Mettre tous les ingrédients de la sauce dans le récipient allongé et actionner le mixeur au fond. La sauce va prendre instantanément!
Cette sauce est parfaite pour cette recette! Verser la quasi-intégralité de la sauce sur les légumes.
Bien mélanger et ajouter les raisins secs.
Couper les cives au couteau.
Bien mélanger, saler et poivrer et laisser au frais au moins deux heures avant de servir.
