Je cherchais depuis un moment une recette de scones comme on peut les trouver dans certains coffee shops… Je vous ai donc préparé et ajuster cette recette de scones qui se rapprochent des scones non pas anglais mais américains. À base de flocons et de son d’avoine, de sirop d’érable et de noix de pécan, cette recette est parfaite pour l’heure du thé ou au petit-déjeuner!
Voici certains des ingrédients nécessaires à cette recette. Le plus dur à trouver étant l’extrait d’érable, mais on peut s’en passer car en France je pense que c’est assez difficile à trouver.
Préchauffer le four à 220°C.
Mettre tous les ingrédients, sauf les noix de pécan, dans le bol du mixeur.
Mixer complétement jusqu’à parfaite incorporation du beurre. Ajouter les noix de pécan et remettre le mixeur en marche juste pour les incorporer.
Ramener la pâte en boule et mettre celle-ci sur un papier sulfurisé.
Aplatir la pâte à la main en gardant la forme circulaire et une certaine épaisseur.
Couper la pâte en 8 parts égales.
Mettre au four 10 minutes…
Redécouper les parts, les séparer et remettre au four pour 5 à 7 minutes.
Laisser complétement refroidir sur une grille à pâtisserie au dessus du papier ayant servi à la cuisson.
Pendant que les scones refroidissent, préparer le glaçage. Mettre le sucre glace, le sirop d’érable et l’extrait de sirop d’érable dans un bol.
Ajouter une cuillerée à soupe d’eau et bien mélanger.
Verser une cuillerée à soupe de ce glaçage sur chaque scone.
Mettre une demi noix de pécan sur chaque scone et laisser « croûter » le glaçage au moins 20 minutes.
Déguster avec une boisson chaude au petit déjeuner ou au goûter!
