Lavez et pelez les tomates. Enlevez un peu de pulpe mais pas la totalité. Coupez-les en petits cubes
Ajoutez une cuillérée à café de crème d'ail au poivre, une cuillérée à soupe d'huile d'olive au basilic et quelques feuilles de basilic ciselées
Mettez les sardines, en ayant pris soin d'enlever les arrêtes, à four chaud quelques minutes pour les réchauffer
Passez les tranches de pain au grille-pain ou au four chaud (avec les sardines dans ce cas) pendant 4 ou 5 minutes.
Passez une fine couche de crème d'ail au poivre sur le pain, puis ajoutez la concassée de tomates au basilic.
Posez délicatement les filets de sardines (éventuellement coupés en morceaux), arrosez-les légèrement d'huile d'olive au basilic et servez immédiatement.
