Para um aperitivo, porque não servir nozes de macadâmia temperadas e assadas em casa? Sugiro esta receita ultra-rápida para impressionar os seus convidados. É absolutamente irresistível…! Podem ser servidos ainda quentes, ou mesmo quentes e picantes! Porque estas nozes de macadâmia estão bem temperadas! Estou a publicar esta receita porque há mais de uma década atrás eu comprava estas malaguetas à Marks&Spencers em Paris. Eu estava literalmente louco por isso. É fácil de imaginar o drama quando as lojas fecharam em França. Como é que eu o ia fazer? Mais tarde fiz várias viagens à Austrália, onde o meu melhor amigo vive em Perth, e encontrei com dificuldade aquelas nozes de chili macadamia. Mas em vez de dar esse salto de fé, acho mais fácil desenvolver um equivalente feito em casa. Então aqui está a minha “mistura” para temperar os meus frutos secos que asso e sirvo quente para um aperitivo colorido!
Receita para 400g de nozes de macadâmia com malagueta:
-400g de nozes de macadâmia em bruto
-2 colheres de sopa de óleo
-1/2 colher de chá de sal
-1/4 colher de chá de paprica
-1 colher de chá de nível (ou mais!!) de pó de pimenta picante
-1/4 colher de chá de alho em pó (não semolina…!! e opcional…)
-2 pitadas de açúcar
Colocar as nozes de macadâmia numa tigela grande.
Já queremos mordê-lo!
Verter as duas colheres de sopa de óleo. Isto servirá para “colar” as especiarias às nozes.
Sacudir a tigela para cima e para baixo para distribuir o óleo uniformemente.
Colocar as nozes sobre um tabuleiro forrado com papel vegetal.
Cozer durante 10-12 minutos a 180°C, mexendo a meio.
Voltar a colocar as nozes na tigela (que terão sido lavadas e limpas). Acrescentar sal. Mexer bem a tigela.
Paprika.
Acrescentar o pó picante. Agitar sempre a tigela. Sacudir a tigela o tempo que for necessário!
Adicionar o alho em pó e o açúcar. O alho em pó pode ser encontrado nas mercearias chinesas (como Tang ou Paris Store). Creio que na Suíça isto também é muito fácil de encontrar. Mas se não tiver isso em mãos, mais vale passar sem ele, porque a sêmola de alho não lhe dará o mesmo resultado de todo!
Mexa-se bem, está pronto!
Sirva as nozes enquanto ainda está quente como aperitivo! Podem ser guardados numa caixa hermética durante muito tempo.
