Durante uma viagem às Cíclades, tive a sorte de experimentar várias vezes o saganáki, um delicioso queijo frito. Uma das versões foi feita com aveia em flocos e o resultado foi inesperado e, francamente, delicioso. O queijo usado, kefalograviéra, é bastante difícil de encontrar em nosso país, então sugiro uma alternativa com halloumi, que é muito mais fácil de encontrar. Servido com mel e algumas fatias de limão, esse prato simples será a estrela do seu aperitivo ou entrada!
Para 3-4 pessoas:
Um halloumi ou 200-250 g de queijo grego: kefalograviéra, kefalotýri, kasséri
Uma tigela de farinha
Uma tigela grande de leite fermentado
200 g de aveia em flocos
Óleo de fritura
Sal e pimenta
Mel e limão para servir
Desembrulhe o halloumi e corte-o em 2 ou 3 fatias grossas.
Passe cada fatia na farinha de trigo dos dois lados.
Retire o excesso e mergulhe-os no leite fermentado. Retire o excesso e coloque em um recipiente com os flocos de aveia.
Polvilhe com flocos para cobrir toda a superfície das fatias de queijo.
Deixe descansar nos flocos por 5 minutos, enquanto você aquece o óleo em uma panela pequena.
Quando o óleo estiver quente, em torno de 180°C, mergulhe as fatias uma a uma até que fiquem douradas.
Escorra em papel absorvente.
Adicione sal e pimenta a gosto e sirva com mel e fatias de limão a gosto.
Desembrulhe o halloumi e corte-o em três fatias grossas.
Passe cada fatia na farinha de trigo dos dois lados. Retire o excesso e mergulhe no leite fermentado. Retire o excesso e coloque em um recipiente com os flocos de aveia.
