Suelo deambular por donde quiera que vaya (ya sea en París o en el resto del mundo) y la inspiración nunca está de más. Me tropecé con la Juicerie de París (su página web AQUÍ) y descubrí esta sopa fría y cruda de calabacín, mango y curry tan sorprendente. A la primera cucharada, te preguntas qué es. Pero cuando vuelves a él, te acostumbras y lo encuentras realmente original, fresco y, además, francamente delicioso. No me sorprendería que algunos de ustedes no estuvieran de acuerdo con la coherencia. Para la receta, simplemente pregunté qué le ponían. Y fueron muy amables y me explicaron todo. Les dije que tenía un blog de cocina. No hubo ningún problema en que compartieran la receta, así que me alegro de citarlos. ¡http://www.juicerie.fr/ Acabo de poner proporciones muy precisas haciendo la receta por instinto y poniendo zumo de naranja en lugar del puré de mango más difícil de encontrar en el público en general!
Receta para 4 personas
300 g de pulpa de calabacín verde o blanco
225 g de pulpa de calabacín amarillo
250 g de pulpa de mango madura
225g de agua
160 g de zumo de naranja
2 cucharaditas de curry en polvo de Madrás
10g de sal
cilantro, si lo desea
Aquí están todos los ingredientes del mercado. No pude resistirme a estos preciosos calabacines blancos (en realidad de color verde muy claro).
Una vez más lo hice todo por instinto, así que podéis cambiar las proporciones, pero con las que os doy, os saldrá la misma sopa que a mí y me gustó mucho. Poner los calabacines en la batidora.
Cortar en trozos pequeños. Vierta el agua, el zumo de naranja y el curry en polvo.
Por último, añadir los mangos y la sal.
Volver a batir hasta conseguir la consistencia deseada.
Verter en una jarra o recipiente. Se puede filmar al contacto (que no es el caso de la foto), ya que si no la sopa se oxida un poco en la superficie…
Dejar reposar durante al menos 3 horas en un lugar fresco.
