Encore une recette de cookies Bernard?? Oui, je l’avoue, j’ai ma phase régressive, mais je ne peux résister devant ces petits gâteaux. Promis, c’est la dernière recette de cookies avant un petit moment (sauf cas de force majeure!). Ces « choc chip bars », ressemblent plus à des « blondies », ces brownies sans chocolat. La pâte, au lieu d’être cuite en boulettes, l’est dans un plat, puis est coupée en parts. Bien sûr, on peut en faire des cookies classiques, mais cuite dans le plat, elle s’adressera aux amoureux de pâte pas trop cuite. Je conserve précieusement cette recette depuis 20 ans, depuis qu’une famille américaine chez qui je restais pour un séjour linguistique, me l’avait donnée. Gardez-la dans un coin, car ces « choc chip bars » vont vous régaler!
Mélanger dans un bol, les oeufs, le sel, le sucre blanc, la vergeoise et la vanille.
Ajouter le beurre fondu et bien mélanger.
Dans un autre récipient, mélanger la farine et le bicarbonate.
Ajouter la farine dans le mélange aux oeufs en une fois et bien mélanger.
Ajouter enfin les pépites de chocolat.
La pâte est prête! Ouf! Trop dur…!
Remplir un moule de 30X30cm de papier sulfurisé (une fois dans un sens et une fois dans l’autre) puis ajouter la pâte. Sur la photo ci dessous, il s’agit d’un moule de 20X20, j’ai donc mis moins de pâte dans le moule et fait cuire le reste en boules, comme des cookies classiques.
Mettre la pâte dans le moule et bien aplatir avec le dis d’une cuiller.
Cuire 35 minutes à 150-160°C.
Quand c’est cuit, laisser refroidir puis démouler.
Couper en morceaux carrés et disperser autour d’enfants enragés.
