Je suis totalement fan depuis longtemps de sushi, de sashimi, de maki, de temaki etc. Même si bien sûr l’expertise est réservée à de vrais professionnels, nous pouvons tout de même nous faire plaisir à la maison avec des temaki prêts en moins d’une heure pour un repas qui fera voyager les papilles ! Vous pourrez bien sûr l’adapter à vos envies et y mettre le poisson et garniture que vous préférez !
Lavez le riz à sushi dans un tamis sous l'eau froide. Égouttez-le bien puis mettez dans le rice cooker avec les 235g d'eau. Faites cuire comme à votre habitude. Sur le rice cooker, il suffit d'appuyer sur un bouton.
Pendant ce temps, préparez les ingrédients. Ici le suprême de surimi je crois, que je coupe en fines lanières.
Placez dans un récipient avec la mayonnaise, le jus de citron. J'ai ajouté en plus des graines de surimi au wasabi.
Épluchez et coupes les avocats en demi-quartiers ou en tranches.
Quand le riz est cuit, démoulez-le délicatement puis versez dans un récipient. Laissez-le tiédir une dizaine de minutes en l'aérant de temps en temps en le remuant avec précision. Pour le vinaigre à sushi, mélangez tous les ingrédients dans un petit bol.
Au bout de ce temps de tiédissement, ajoutez le vinaigre sucré en mélangeant délicatement.
Pour les feuilles de maki, coupez de façon à avoir en haut une longueur équivalente à 2 largeurs.
Mettez environ 40g de riz préparé sur la moitié de la feuille, en un carré donc. Passez un peu de wasabi à votre goût sur le riz. Mettez en diagonale les éléments choisis, surimi, saumon, thon, concombre, avocat, cream cheese etc.
Pliez en un triangle. Terminez en enroulant de le reste de feuille d'algue autour du cornet ainsi réalisé !
Faites de même pour tous vos 10 temaki. Servez avec un petit bol de sauce de soja claire.
