La salade grecque à proprement parler n’existe pas en Grèce. C’est comme le riz cantonais à Canton (voir la recette ICI). Mais il y a toujours à table une salade avec au moins de la feta et de la tomate, et c’est simplement une salade pour eux. Après on y ajoute vraiment ce que l’on veut. L’important évidemment (comme pour toutes les recettes finalement) est de prendre de bons légumes bien mûrs. Pour que la salade soit bien fraiche, je place avant de la préparer (car cela prend 5 minutes en tout), les légumes au réfrigérateur au moins une heure ou deux. Avec juste du sel, du poivre et une bonne huile d’olive, c’est un plat frais, coloré et super savoureux !
Lavez et coupez les légumes, poivrons, tomates etc.
Pareil pour l’oignon rouge. J’ai encore recoupé par rapport à la photo !
Mettez tout dans un large récipient et mélangez bien.
Salez et versez un peu d’huile d’olive sur les légumes. Mélangez bien puis versez-les dans les assiettes ou dans un grand plat de service. Placez la feta que vous écraserez entre vos mains pour la mettre en morceaux.
Poivrez généreusement et placez les olives.
Arrosez d’huile d’olive.
C’est prêt !! Je vous montre juste la photo quand je mélange juste avant de manger, mais servez bien la salade sans le faire! C’est justement pour cela que je vous montre à quoi cela ressemble, car c’est beaucoup moins joli pour la présentation !
