Pour l’apéritif, pourquoi ne pas servir des noix de macadamia assaisonnées et grillées à la maison?? Je vous propose cette recette ultra rapide pour bluffer vos invités. C’est absolument irrésistible…! On peut les servir encore tièdes, même chaudes et bien relevées! Car ces noix de macadamia sont bien pimentées comme il faut! Je mets cette recette en ligne car il y a plus d’une dizaine d’années, j’achetais ces noix au chili chez Marks&Spencers à Paris. J’en étais littéralement fou. On imagine facilement le drame quand les boutiques ont fermées en France. Comment allais-je faire?? Je suis plus tard allé plusieurs fois en Australie où vit ma meilleure amie, à Perth, et j’ai retrouvé avec difficulté ces noix de macadamia au chili. Mais plutôt que de faire ce saut de puce jusque-là, je trouve tout de même plus facile de mettre au point un équivalent « maison ». Alors voici mon « mix » pour assaisonner mes noix que je torréfie et que je sers chaudes pour un apéritif haut en couleur!
Verser les deux cuillerées à soupe d’huile. Celle-ci va servir à « coller » les épices sur les noix.
Secouer le bol de bas en haut pour bien répartir l’huile.
Verser les noix sur une plaque garnie de papier sulfurisé.
Mettre 10-12 minutes à 180°C en remuant à mi-cuisson.
Remettre les noix dans le bol (qui aura été lavé et nettoyé). Ajouter le sel. Bien remuer le bol.
Le paprika.
Ajouter le piment fort en poudre. Toujours remuer le bol. Il faut secouer le bol aussi longtemps que nécessaire !!
Ajouter l’ail en poudre et le sucre. En ce qui concerne l’ail en poudre, on le trouve en épicerie chinoise (type Tang ou Paris Store). Je crois qu’en Suisse, cela se trouve également très facilement. Mais si l’on n’a pas cela sous la main, autant s’en passer car l’ail semoule ne donnera pas du tout la même chose!
Bien remuer, c’est prêt!!
Servir les noix encore tièdes pour l’apéritif! On pourra les conserver en boîte hermétique pendant un long moment…
