Cela fait un moment que je cherche une recette valable de muffins au chocolat, car je suis systématiquement déçu! J’en ai essayé tout un tas avant d’ajuster et d’arriver à celle-ci! Je pense qu’ils portent bien le nom que je leur ai donné! C’est une véritable explosion de chocolat…! Pour la forme « atomique », il faut savoir que je fantasme absolument sur les énormes muffins que l’on trouve chez « Starbucks », je suis donc allé leur demander quels moules ils utilisaient……pour faire leurs énormes muffins. J’ai donc fait littéralement le tour de la planète pour les dénicher, car je ne les trouvais pas sur internet! Ce sont des moules « chicago metallic », le modèle « large crown muffin pan »… Voilà, vous savez tout! Je fais donc comme eux et je triche (et je l’assume!!) pour vous faire ces muffins monstrueusement chocolatés!! Ce ne fût pas simple de trouver une recette qui associe un goût délicieux et une levée au four presque démentielle! C’est chose faite! Cela marche aussi pour les moules normaux, mais surtout ne pas les remplir à moitié!!!! Il faut remplir toujours la totalité du moule, ce qui accroit la durée de cuisson…
Préchauffer le four à 190°C.Mélanger les œufs, le cacao en poudre, le sucre, le lait et le beurre fondu dans un bol.
Ajouter la farine et mélanger de nouveau.
Ajouter le chocolat au lait en morceaux (on peut couper du lindt lait en morceaux!).
Ajouter enfin la levure et le bicarbonate dans la pâte et bien mélanger.Mettre les papiers dans les trous prévus. Pour le moule « chicago metallic », je graisse très légèrement le bord intérieur avec un papier absorbant imbibé de bombe de démoulage.
Verser la pâte presque jusqu’au bord des moules (même pour les muffins de taille normale!).
Enfourner et laisser cuire 25 à 30 minutes.
Sortir et démouler au bout de 5 minutes.
Les consommer quand ils sont refroidis!
