بعد الأعياد والفطائر، ربما حان الوقت لإضفاء لمسة خفيفة على الأطباق، ولكن دون تنحية مذاق الأشياء الجيدة جانبًا! ربما كنت قد قدمت بالفعل حساء العدس الأحمر على موقع الطهي الخاص بي، ولكن هنا الطماطم (في العلبة) غيرت قواعد اللعبة! هذا الحساء جاهز في أقل من 30 دقيقة. أصنعها بانتظام لأنني من محبي العدس المرجاني بجميع أشكاله. ماذا تفعل للتدفئة في قلب الشتاء!

2 سم من الزنجبيل الطازج
450 جرام من العدس المرجاني
1.5 لتر من الماء
400 جرام من الطماطم الكاملة المعلبة
300 جرام حليب جوز الهند
2 ملاعق صغيرة مسحوق كاري
1/2 ملعقة صغيرة كمون
فلفل حار، ملح فلفل، زيت زيتون
صب 3 ملاعق كبيرة من زيت الزيتون في قدر كبيرة. سخني القدر على نار متوسطة ثم أضيفي البصل والكراث وفصوص الثوم المقشرة والمقطعة إلى قطع صغيرة.
قشر قطعة من الزنجبيل، وقطعها إلى قطع وأضفها إلى المقلاة.
دع كل شيء بني جيدًا. في هذه الأثناء، اشطف العدس المرجاني تحت الماء البارد الجاري في منخل.
أضفهم إلى المقلاة.
يُسكب مباشرة لتر ونصف من الماء و400 جرام من الطماطم المعلبة الكاملة (مع العصير).
