Desenvuelve el halloumi y córtalo en 3 rodajas gruesas.
Pasa cada rodaja por harina por ambos lados. Retira el exceso y sumérgelo en la leche fermentada. Retira el exceso y ponlo en un recipiente con los copos de avena.
Espolvorea los copos hasta cubrir toda la superficie de las lonchas de queso. Deja reposar los copos durante 5 minutos, mientras calientas el aceite en una cacerola pequeña.
Cuando el aceite esté caliente, a unos 180°C, sumerge las rodajas una a una hasta que se doren. Escurre sobre papel de cocina.
Salpimienta al gusto y sirve con miel y rodajas de limón al gusto.
