Donuts grandes, estaladi\u00e7os e inchados com camar\u00e3o jumbo. O \u00fanico problema que tive ao testar foi que os meus donuts n\u00e3o ficaram crocantes durante muito tempo depois de cozinhados. Eram visualmente belas, mas suaves ap\u00f3s 5 minutos. Identifiquei rapidamente o problema e por isso apresento-vos esta receita que ainda \u00e9 muito saborosa! A maioria das receitas para fritos de camar\u00e3o inclui a adi\u00e7\u00e3o de ovo: ovo inteiro, gema ou clara. V\u00ea-se todo o tipo de coisas, mas mant\u00ea-las simples \u00e9 muitas vezes a chave! Os ovos fazem os donuts inchar bem, mas acrescentam uma textura que se torna macia ap\u00f3s 5 minutos no ar. Isto \u00e9 normal porque os ovos d\u00e3o uma textura de &#8220;bolo&#8221;! O facto de apenas se utilizar farinha, amido e \u00e1gua doce (e levedura, claro) significa que a \u00e1gua evapora em contacto com o \u00f3leo quente.
