Trouxe esta receita dos Estados Unidos há muito tempo atrás e tive-a duas vezes: uma vez lá em 1992, penso eu, e um ano depois em casa. Toda a família tinha ficado tão espantada com a forma como estes tratamentos eram feitos que eu nunca mais os tinha feito. Já não tenho a receita à mão, mas a sua simplicidade permitiu-me fazê-la de novo à primeira vista. De facto, acredito que uma receita equivalente pode ser encontrada em cada pacote de krispies de arroz nos EUA. Esta é a que eu tinha de ter! Estas pequenas coisas americanas são realmente despretensiosas, mas acima de tudo são muito divertidas para as crianças fazerem. Os pais provavelmente olharão para si, mas tem de admitir que os vai comer às escondidas!
Receita para um molde quadrado de 20x20cm (16 partes):
-50g de manteiga semi-salgada
-1/2 colher de chá de sal
-1 colher de chá de baunilha líquida
-200g marshmallows
-175g de krispies de arroz
Colocar a manteiga semi-salgada, sal e baunilha numa frigideira.
Quando toda a manteiga tiver derretido, adicionar os 200g de marshmallows.
Deixe-o derreter. Esta etapa é um pouco…especial!
Quando todos os marshmallows tiverem derretido, adicionar os krispies de arroz.
Em seguida, misturar com uma colher.
Verter a mistura para uma forma quadrada de 20X20cm revestida com papel vegetal. Aplanar e alisar a superfície com a parte de trás de uma colher. Para evitar que se colasse, pus-lhe um pouco de óleo!
Em seguida, sair para se preparar durante uma hora. Apareça e retire o papel.
Cortado em 16 peças.
Armazenar numa caixa hermética. Caso contrário, o açúcar na superfície irá captar humidade do ambiente!
