Desembrulhe o halloumi e corte-o em três fatias grossas.
Passe cada fatia na farinha de trigo dos dois lados. Retire o excesso e mergulhe no leite fermentado. Retire o excesso e coloque em um recipiente com os flocos de aveia.
Polvilhe com flocos para cobrir toda a superfície das fatias de queijo. Deixe descansar nos flocos por 5 minutos, enquanto você aquece o óleo em uma panela pequena.
Quando o óleo estiver quente, em torno de 180°C, mergulhe as fatias uma a uma até que fiquem douradas. Escorra em papel absorvente.
Adicione sal e pimenta a gosto e sirva com mel e fatias de limão a gosto.
