Esta é a receita de "Touron de Alicante" ou "Turron de Alicante". É um nougat espanhol quebradiço e estaladiço. Tenho estado a preparar esta receita em segredo há vários meses! Procurei por toda a parte uma receita real de Alicante turrón, na Internet, em livros de cozinha espanhóis, em livros de confeiteiros profissionais, mas sem sucesso. As receitas mal se aproximavam do resultado real! Tive de entrar às cegas e consertar a receita vezes sem conta para obter o resultado que finalmente correspondeu às minhas expectativas! Falhei várias vezes, experimentei diferentes técnicas, deitei fora quilos de mel, açúcar e amêndoas, zanguei-me, e acima de tudo jurei a mim mesmo que seria bem sucedido! É portanto com grande orgulho que finalmente vos apresento. Gostaria de salientar que esta receita irá provavelmente apelar àqueles que gostam de um desafio culinário e que requer um pouco de paciência para o conseguir.
