Eu tinha provado estes makis invertidos num restaurante de "fusão" em Santiago, Chile, com dois amigos. Embora não fossem muito tradicionais, eram realmente deliciosos. No blog, propus maki japonês com salmão chilli e gimbaps coreano com frango. Duas técnicas semelhantes, mas com arroz vinagre para a primeira e arroz com óleo de sésamo para a segunda. Como estamos claramente na faixa da "fusão alimentar" aqui, eu queria testar um arroz que era ao mesmo tempo vinagrado (em menores proporções) e com óleo de sésamo. O resultado é perfeito para mim. Aqui, com camarão estaladiço e salmão cozido e fumado, o maki é rico, mas decadente e apetitoso.
