O flapjack vem de Inglaterra. É baseado em xarope de glucose caramelizado, “xarope dourado”, que pode ser encontrado em certas lojas como Carrefour, na secção “produtos mundiais”.
Esta receita é para fãs como eu deste bolo. Esta é a única receita em que uso margarina em vez de manteiga, mas a magia do flajack ganha vida com ela!
Receita para flapjacks:
-50g de açúcar mascavado -140g de xarope dourado -170g de margarina -300g de farinha de aveia
Pré-aquecer o forno a 160°C.
Derreter a margarina com o açúcar amarelo e o xarope numa caçarola em em lume brando.
Misturar bem.
Retirar a frigideira do calor e adicionar a aveia.
Pegar numa forma de bolo de 23×7 cm (medida na base), untá-la com o spray que menciono no meu canelés .
Despeje ono molde, e espalhá-lo uniformemente.
Com a parte de trás de uma colher, achatar e pressionar o mais possível para baixo. Colocar no forno durante 20 a 25 minutos. Deixar repousar durante 20 minutos e depois retirar do molde.
Os flapjacks devem ser autorizados a arrefecer antes de serem cortados. Com esta receita numa lata de bolo, pode cortá-la em seis belas fatias!
