No outro dia, olhando para as minhas bananas com um ar triste e pensando nas compotas da Índia Ocidental, pensei que estava na altura de fazer uma realmente deliciosa! Penso em todas as receitas que tenho, esta é a que cheira melhor na cozinha. Só por esta razão, aconselho a todos a experimentarem! E especialmente sobre um pedaço de pão fresco, esta compota vai transportá-lo para os trópicos!
Receita para “doce de banana”:
-1kg de carne de banana
-550g de açúcar mascavado
-60g de rum âmbar
-1 ou 2 feijões de baunilha
Aqui estão as minhas bananas que estavam a começar a parecer um pouco amuadas! Mas eles podem ser ainda mais maduros! Para uma compota não é nada de mais!
Colocar a carne de banana numa frigideira com o açúcar mascavado.
Como eu gosto de geleia com pedaços, trituro-a com um garfo. Mas pode usar uma varinha mágica no final da receita se quiser uma compota muito suave.
Adicione a vanilina de um feijão inteiro raspando o interior com a sua miniatura.
E acrescentar o velho rum âmbar.
Colocar em lume médio.
E cozinhar, mexendo regularmente com uma colher de pau.
Cozinhar durante pelo menos 25 minutos a partir da fervura. Se quiser uma compota suave, misture com uma varinha mágica, depois deixe cozinhar durante um pouco mais de tempo (10 minutos).
Colocar num frasco esterilizado.
E inverter o frasco para esterilizar perfeitamente com o conteúdo muito quente.
Não! Não fui eu quem tirou uma dentada do pão. Já não sei mais!
Confiture de Bananes, Rhum et Vanille

L’autre jour, en regardant mes bananes prendre un air triste et en pensant aux confitures des antilles, je me suis dit qu’il était temps d’en faire une vraiment délicieuse! Je crois que de toute les recettes que j’ai, c’est celle qui dégage la meilleure odeur dans la cuisine. Rien que pour cela je conseille à tout le monde de l’essayer! Et surtout sur un morceau de pain frais, cette confiture vous transportera sous les tropiques!
Mettre la chair des bananes dans une casserole avec la cassonade.
Comme j’aime bien la confiture avec des morceaux, j’écrase avec une fourchette. Mais on peut passer au mixeur plongeant à la fin de la recette si l’on souhaite une confiture très lisse.
Ajouter la vanilline d’une gousse entière en raclant l’intérieur avec l’ongle du pouce.
Et ajouter le vieux rhum ambré.
Mettre sur feu moyen.
Et cuire en mélangeant réguliérement avec une cuiller en bois.
Laisser cuire au moins 25 minutes à partir de l’ébullition. Si l’on veut une confiture lisse, il faut mixer avec le mixeur plongeant, puis laisser recuire un peu plus (10 minutes).
Mettre en pot stérilisé.
Et renverser le pot pour parfaitement stériliser avec le contenu très chaud.
