El otro día, viendo que mis plátanos parecían tristes y pensando en las mermeladas de las Indias Occidentales, ¡pensé que era el momento de hacer una realmente deliciosa! Creo que de todas las recetas que tengo, ésta es la que mejor huele en la cocina. Sólo por este motivo, aconsejo a todo el mundo que lo pruebe. Y especialmente sobre un trozo de pan fresco, esta mermelada te transportará al trópico.
Receta de «mermelada de plátano»:
-1kg de pulpa de plátano
-550g de azúcar moreno
-60g de ron ámbar
-1 o 2 vainas de vainilla
¡Aquí están mis plátanos que empezaban a estar un poco enfadados! ¡Pero pueden ser aún más maduros! Para una mermelada no es gran cosa.
Poner la pulpa del plátano en una sartén con el azúcar moreno.
Como me gusta la mermelada con trozos, la aplasto con un tenedor. Pero puedes utilizar una batidora de mano al final de la receta si quieres una mermelada muy suave.
Añada la vainillina de una judía entera raspando el interior con la uña del pulgar.
Y añade el ron ámbar añejo.
Poner a fuego medio.
Y cocinar, removiendo regularmente con una cuchara de madera.
Cocer durante al menos 25 minutos desde la ebullición. Si desea una mermelada suave, mézclela con una batidora de mano y déjela cocer un poco más (10 minutos).
Colocar en un frasco esterilizado.
E invertir el tarro para esterilizar perfectamente con el contenido muy caliente.
¡No! No fui yo quien le dio un mordisco al pan… ¡Ya no lo sé!
Confiture de Bananes, Rhum et Vanille
L’autre jour, en regardant mes bananes prendre un air triste et en pensant aux confitures des antilles, je me suis dit qu’il était temps d’en faire une vraiment délicieuse! Je crois que de toute les recettes que j’ai, c’est celle qui dégage la meilleure odeur dans la cuisine. Rien que pour cela je conseille à tout le monde de l’essayer! Et surtout sur un morceau de pain frais, cette confiture vous transportera sous les tropiques!
Mettre la chair des bananes dans une casserole avec la cassonade.
Comme j’aime bien la confiture avec des morceaux, j’écrase avec une fourchette. Mais on peut passer au mixeur plongeant à la fin de la recette si l’on souhaite une confiture très lisse.
Ajouter la vanilline d’une gousse entière en raclant l’intérieur avec l’ongle du pouce.
Et ajouter le vieux rhum ambré.
Mettre sur feu moyen.
Et cuire en mélangeant réguliérement avec une cuiller en bois.
Laisser cuire au moins 25 minutes à partir de l’ébullition. Si l’on veut une confiture lisse, il faut mixer avec le mixeur plongeant, puis laisser recuire un peu plus (10 minutes).
Mettre en pot stérilisé.
Et renverser le pot pour parfaitement stériliser avec le contenu très chaud.
