El flapjack viene de Inglaterra. Se basa en un jarabe de glucosa caramelizada, el «jarabe de oro», que se puede encontrar en algunas tiendas como Carrefour, en la sección de «productos del mundo».
Esta receta es para los fanáticos como yo de este pastel. Esta es la única receta en la que uso margarina en lugar de mantequilla, ¡pero la magia del flajack cobra vida con ella!
Receta para hacer flapjacks:
-50g de azúcar moreno -140g de jarabe de oro -170g de margarina -300g de avena
Precalentar el horno a 160°C.
Derretir la margarina con el azúcar moreno y el sirope en un cazo a a fuego lento.
Mezclar bien.
Retirar la sartén del fuego y añadir la avena.
Coge un molde de 23×7 cm (medido en la base), engrásalo con el spray que menciono en mi canelés .
Vierta elen el molde, y lo extienden uniformemente.
Con el dorso de una cuchara, aplane y presione lo más posible. Introducir en el horno de 20 a 25 minutos. Dejar reposar 20 minutos y desmoldar.
Los flapjacks deben dejarse enfriar antes de cortarlos. Con esta receta en un molde para tartas, se puede cortar en seis bonitas rebanadas.
