Para Navidad, les ofrezco una de las muchas recetas de mi nuevo libro, Scandalously Decadent, publicado por Flammarion, el Kanelsnurrer. Lo rehice todo paso a paso para el blog, y la foto que se ve aquí no es la del libro. Tienes que probar esta receta, sólo por el increíblemente delicioso olor de hornear estos kanelsnurrer, estos "remolinos de canela". Porque además de la canela del relleno, la pasta también contiene cardamomo. Esta es la versión original y escandinava de los bollos de canela. A pesar de la aparente complejidad de los diseños, la receta es en realidad muy sencilla y rápida de hacer. Sólo hay que preparar la masa con suficiente antelación para dejarla reposar. El pequeño truco para hacer los giros no es complicado y el resultado es sorprendente: ¡los kanelsnurrer son suaves y fragantes!
