\nThis recipe has been on my mind for a while. It took me a while to develop it. I had to go back and forth a few times to find the dosage that works without baking. I used to eat similar cereal bars in London over 15 years ago, they were called “giant peanut bars”. I was completely crazy about it! It looks very much like a kind of flapjack. I had posted my flapjack recipe at the very beginning of my blog, you can find the recipe HERE<\/a>. This recipe is quite different in taste and texture and most importantly, there is no baking involved! All you need is a pan to make this very healthy snack for yourself or your children. I love oatmeal, so here’s a new way to make it. <\/div>\n

\nRecipe for “Giant peanut bars”:<\/p>\n

-100g of “special cooking” margarine<\/span><\/b>
\n-75g of rapeseed oil<\/span><\/b>
\n-100g of brown sugar<\/span><\/b>
\n-30g of sugar<\/span><\/b>
\n-50g of agave syrup<\/span><\/b>
\n-15g of water<\/span><\/b>
\n-1 teaspoon of liquid vanilla<\/span><\/b>
\n-2 pinches of salt<\/span><\/b>
\n-360g of Quaker oats (because they cook fast!)<\/span><\/b>
\n-65g of peanut puree<\/span><\/b>
\n-40g of sunflower seeds<\/span><\/b>
\n-chocolate chips<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Place sugars, agave syrup, oil, water, vanilla, salt and margarine in a saucepan. <\/i>

\nHeat over low heat to melt sugars and margarine. <\/i><\/div>\n

\nWhile mixing, let heat on low heat until flakes have a cooked appearance (they are no longer distinguish really). This may take 7-8 minutes. In fact, it cooks like a porridge, that’s why it doesn’t need to be baked.<\/i><\/div>\n

\nAdd the peanut puree off the heat.<\/i>
