This rice is perfect and has multiple flavors. I prepared this recipe on instinct, inspired by Manju&#8217;s biryiani, a dish I will post soon! In the meantime, this rice with cashew nuts and raisins, can be decorated with other dried fruits: apricots, flaked almonds&#8230;&nbsp;<\/div>\n<p>\n<a name=\"more\"><\/a>Recipe for 4 to 6 people:<\/p>\n<p><b><span style=\"\">-400g of long grain basmati rice<\/span><\/b><br \/>\n<b><span style=\"\">-80g of raw cashew nuts<\/span><\/b><br \/>\n<b><span style=\"\">-60g of raisins<\/span><\/b><br \/>\n<b><span style=\"\">-2 onions<\/span><\/b><br \/>\n<b><span style=\"\">-1\/2 bunch of coriander<\/span><\/b><br \/>\n<b><span style=\"\">-salt pepper<\/span><\/b><br \/>\n<b><span style=\"\">-60g of ghee (or clarified butter)<\/span><\/b><br \/>\n<b><span style=\"\">-2 Indian bay leaves (optional if not available!)<\/span><\/b><br \/>\n<b><span style=\"\">-4 capsules of cardamom<\/span><\/b><br \/>\n<b><span style=\"\">-2 cinnamon sticks<\/span><\/b><br \/>\n<b><span style=\"\">-2 tablespoons of milk<\/span><\/b><br \/>\n<b><span style=\"\">-a little kasuri methi (optional)<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<i>Clarify 100g of butter. Simply melt the butter and then remove only the top part. Don&#8217;t take the whey at the bottom!
