A trip that I will publish very soon. On the way back I stopped in Athens where I ate a delicious dish: kritharoto with shrimps. I set out to make it again in the workshop to give you the recipe. Visually, it&#8217;s a bit complicated to take a picture of, but the dish is just excellent! Trust me, especially if you like shrimp. For once in my cooking blog, I&#8217;m using the little ourzo pasta, or bird tongues, which finally have many names depending on where they come from. It is prepared a bit like a risotto, with a broth full of flavor.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<\/div>\n<p><a name=\"more\"><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/stagingapp15670.cloudwayssites.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_1514-1024x749.jpg\" data-rel=\"penci-gallery-image-content\"  imageanchor=\"1\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" data-original-height=\"1172\" data-original-width=\"1600\" src=\"https:\/\/stagingapp15670.cloudwayssites.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_1514-1024x749.jpg\"><\/a><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\nRecipe for 4 people:&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<b><span style=\"\"><br \/><\/span><\/b><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<b><span style=\"\">Broth:&nbsp;<\/span><\/b><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><b><span style=\"\">4 tablespoons of olive oil<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><b><span style=\"\">12 large shrimp or 24 smaller shrimp<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><b><span style=\"\">1 onion<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><b><span style=\"\">4 garlic cloves<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><b><span style=\"\">1,7 liter of water<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><b><span style=\"\">6 bay leaves<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><b><span style=\"\">a good pinch of saffron pistils<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<b><span style=\"\"><br \/><\/span><\/b><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<b><span style=\"\">For the kritharoto:<\/span><\/b><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><b><span style=\"\">40g of butter&nbsp;<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><b><span style=\"\">3 tablespoons of olive oil<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><b><span style=\"\">1\/2 white onion<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><b><span style=\"\">350g of &#8220;bird tongue&#8221; pasta, risetti, ourzo, riseni&nbsp;<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><b><span style=\"\">150ml of white wine<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><b><span style=\"\">1 tomato<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><b><span style=\"\">50g grated cheese (kefalotyri to stay in Greece, or parmesan for simplicity)<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><b><span style=\"\">a little bit of chives<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><b><span style=\"\">salt pepper<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\nFor this recipe, I used very large shrimp.
