I had tasted some very good ones a week before, but this time I came across peaches that turned out mushy and without juice. Big disappointment, yet I had gone to the same place and taken the same fruits which had the same aspect. I didn&#8217;t want to throw them away, I preferred to make a delicious upside down cake out of them. I lightly precook the peaches beforehand, and they become very tasty and juicy. The dough on top is addictive! And the mix between the two is just perfect.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<p><\/div>\n<p><a name=\"more\"><\/a><b><span style=\"\">For a 26x17cm cake:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li><b><span style=\"\">7-8 large white or yellow peaches<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n<li><b><span style=\"\">200g of sugar<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n<li><b><span style=\"\">165g of semi-salted butter<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n<li><b><span style=\"\">225g of flour<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n<li><b><span style=\"\">2 large eggs<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n<li><b><span style=\"\">1 teaspoon of liquid vanilla<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\nFor this recipe, as I said, I used peaches that were perfect for baking. But even very good peaches will make a very good cake! I only have 4 in the picture, but I ended up putting in almost 8.
