I&#8217;m a nut lover and I&#8217;ve made walnut pies in the past, but this time I wanted a pie. And what better way to celebrate this wonderful season than&nbsp; with a &#8220;tuorta da nusch&#8221;, the famous walnut pie from the Engadine in the Swiss Alps? Delicious for a snack, I can&#8217;t resist a nice slice for long.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<\/div>\n<p><a name=\"more\"><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/stagingapp15670.cloudwayssites.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/IMG_4597-1024x826.jpg\" data-rel=\"penci-gallery-image-content\"  imageanchor=\"1\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" data-original-height=\"1291\" data-original-width=\"1600\" src=\"https:\/\/stagingapp15670.cloudwayssites.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/IMG_4597-1024x826.jpg\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b><span style=\"\">Recipe for a 18 or 20cm pie (depending on the thickness of the nut layer desired!):<\/span><\/b><br \/>\n<b><span style=\"\"><br \/><\/span><\/b><br \/>\n<b><span style=\"\">Dough:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li><b><span style=\"\">180g of semi-salted butter<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n<li><b><span style=\"\">115g of sugar<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n<li><b><span style=\"\">1 egg<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n<li><b><span style=\"\">300g of flour<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>\n<span style=\"\"><b>Caramel with nuts :&nbsp;<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li><b><span style=\"\">175g of sugar<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"\"><b>a good pinch of salt<\/b><\/span><\/li>\n<li><b><span style=\"\">50g of glucose syrup<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n<li><b><span style=\"\">20cl of heavy cream<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n<li><b><span style=\"\">30g of honey<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n<li><b><span style=\"\">300g of nuts&nbsp;<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\nPrepare the dough.
