Green beans with sesame sauce

In a small Japanese restaurant that I really like, the Sake Lover (83 rue de Turbigo in Paris) that I adore, the food is traditional and you will only find excellent dishes there. I was inspired by their beans which I never fail to devour when they are on the menu. Everything is ready in 20 minutes. The sauce is made of sesame of course, tahini (sesame paste) and toasted sesame oil. But also a little soy sauce and mirin, a very mild sake for cooking that you can easily find in Japanese, exotic or Asian grocery stores, but also on the internet.

Like a craving for sunshine on your plate? I recently made a big cold buffet for some friends, and I made this coral lentil and sweet potato hummus. A real delight that was a huge success! Everyone jumped on it. So yes, officially this is not a hummus because there are no chickpeas. But I think that today everyone understands hummus by its consistency and the fact that it is cooked pulses mixed with sesame puree. This one has quickly become one of my favorites! To do and do again this summer...

I was craving a small salad that was ultra fresh and healthy while still being nutritious. That's the case with this coral lentil salad, cooked al dente, with raisins, pickled red onion and mint. A little rest in the refrigerator and it will be ready to be devoured for a picnic or a buffet on a sunny day!
