Here is a simple and effective dish, ready in just a few minutes. The longest will be to cook the plain rice to accompany it! I offer you these crunchy prawns in a spicy sweet and sour sauce, with sugar snap peas and a few Thai basil leaves, for an ultra tasty meal. The hardest to find is Thai basil, but know that it grows very well in pots indoors! Convenient to always have on hand, if like me you are a fan!

Wasabi Crispy Shrimp
As I travel much less than before, I look at my notebooks in which I wrote down the dishes I had tasted abroad. This dish of crispy wasabi prawns really stuck with me and I had tasted it in Shanghai some time ago. It took me a long time to find the right proportions and since I finally discovered the way to make fried food extra crispy, I am having fun making the delights I had in mind. It's done with this dish which is very special. I recommend if you try it, maybe only start with half the proportions. The “sauce” that coats the prawns is very, very special. But a delight when you dare to venture there!

Tuna salmon poke bowl with mango-passion sauce
Here is the third and final recipe in partnership with Uhaina Organic Beer. This time I propose a healthy poke bowl, with whole grain rice, marinated salmon and tuna and lots of good stuff, to go with an organic beer Uhaina IPA ice cold (silver medal Paris 2020)! It's summer on the plate! I often cook poke bowls, because the few times I buy them, I'm always a little disappointed, so I might as well make it myself. In addition to that, I put here a mango passion sauce that will deliciously excite the taste buds!

I often have cooked rice in an airtight box in the fridge. I love white rice with just a dash of soy sauce, sesame oil and a little bit of chili. I had a nice amount left over and wanted to make a very simple sautéed rice, without too many frills. Simple, efficient and good! All the ingredients are easy to find, or are even already in your home. You can add whatever you like (meat, aromatic herbs, dried fruits).

I had proposed on my cooking blog, several recipes of crispy meats. I was craving this vegan option with shiitake mushrooms. It's been a while since I shared with you the secret of tapioca starch that makes frying extra crispy. Here I make a sauce with hoisin, vinegar, sugar and soy sauce. All this with crunchy peanuts and coriander, it makes a very fragrant and irresistible dish!

Fried rice with chicken, peanuts and coriander
Here is a quick recipe! I made it during a facebook live during the lockdown with what I had on hand. The result is a delight with peanuts, cilantro and moist chicken. Just remember to cook the rice the day before and let it sit in the fridge overnight so that it comes apart nicely. You can adapt with what you have at hand!
